Dashing through Downtown: Christmas Parade set for Saturday
Everyone is invited to participate, just make sure to be lined up at the corner of Carson St. and W. Musser St. by 10:30 a.m., the parade starts at 11 a.m. sharp. Costumes, ugly sweaters, not ugly sweaters, and Santa hats are welcomed.
Once Santa arrives in Telegraph Square, he will available on the porch of Rocking and Rolling from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pictures, candy canes, and hot chocolate. Make sure to bring a camera. Vendors will be in the Square with some holiday gift options, in addition to face painting and a Toys for Tots booth.
The Lions Club will be there with See's Candy to help you check off the sweet tooth on your gift list. A raffle drawing features a gift basket filled with treasures from local stores (a $560 value) and a scooter. Raffle tickets are available now at Rocking and Rolling, 402 N. Curry St.
