Three floors in height with two stairwells, elevators, and bathrooms on each floor; the commercial building will be home to local businesses, a training and development center for residents of the Student Housing apartments, and a local restaurant.

Juan’s Mexican Grill to open Monday in Downtown Carson City

Owners Juan and Maria Salazar have been running the first location of Juan’s Mexican Grill for years inside the Comstock Casino and this new location, which took over the venue left vacant by Battle Born Social, will be their second.
This is not their first time serving up Mexican cuisine in the downtown area. Juan’s used to operate both inside the old Mo and Sluggo’s (now the Pourhouse) as well as the Horseshoe Club (now closed).

Carson City's Bank Saloon seeks artist to turn transformer box into aesthetic canvas

The owners of the property are looking for designs that will go with the established aesthetic of both inside and outside of the bank saloon.
Local eatery Juan's Mexican Grill to open second location in downtown Carson City

Since then, the family has been serving up dishes throughout Carson City, first at Mo and Sluggo's (now Westside Pour House), then at the Horseshoe Club (now closed), and finally at the Comstock Casino, where they remain as Juan's Mexican Grill.
Carson City man jailed after homeowner shoots him in foot for alleged attempted break-in

First wine walk since COVID-19 shut down sells 327 tickets, brings wine-lovers to downtown Carson City

Patrons had their temperature checks upon check in, and masks were required while inside businesses.
According to event hosts, no one had been turned away for a high temperature or cold-like symptoms, but some had been turned away for not purchasing tickets ahead of time, as required.

The popular sushi restaurant, located at 319 North Carson Street in downtown Carson City, closed down earlier this year amidst the COVID-19 shutdown, and Capital City Sushi took over the location soon after.

Carson City's 'Bank Saloon' announces local restauranteur as new operator for the historic, long-awaited bar

The bar, which is scheduled to open in October 2020, has undergone extensive renovations since it was purchased by the Builders Alliance in 2018.
