Carson City weekend arrests: Several jailed for warrants, drugs and DUI
A pair from Pioneer, Calif., were booked Sunday into Carson City jail for felony warrants that allege obtaining money by false pretenses among other charges, a Carson City sheriff’s deputies said.
In custody are Tyler Christian Keogh, 26, and Soleo Moon Allen, 20. Keogh also faces misdemeanor warrant charges of failure to appear on a traffic warrant and probation violation. Bail: $8,115. Allen faces misdemeanor warrant charges of contempt of court and probation violation. Bail: $9,070.
In other arrests:
— A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 4:17 p.m. in the 1000 block of East Second Street for two misdemeanor warrants, violation of a suspended sentence and contempt of court. Bail: $2,000.
— A 24-year-old Reno man was booked into Carson City jail Sunday for a misdemeanor domestic battery second offense warrant issued Feb. 6, 2017 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $5,000.
— A 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 10:19 a.m. in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road for a gross misdemeanor neglect of duty warrant issued Feb. 6, 2017 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,500.
— A 56-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Sunday, 7:41 am. in the area of Saliman and Depot streets for misdemeanor violation of bail conditions. The woman was arrested after she provided a preliminary breath test of .154. She is on Alternative Sentencing with a “no alcohol” clause. Bail: $3,000.
— A 53-year-old Carson Reno woman, Nancy Lynn Griffin, was arrested Saturday, 5 p.m. for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, meth and a state parole and probation violations, both felonies and four misdemeanors including DUI drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, obedience of a traffic control device, and driving on a suspended license. Bail: $5,498.
Also arrested was Terry Ann Bauback, 36, of Silver Springs for felony suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: $3,637.
— A 34-year-old Carson City mantas arrested Saturday, 8:41 p.m. in the area of Roop and Fifth streets for a misdemeanor failure to comply warrant out of Reno Municipal Court. He is awaiting to be extradited to Reno for the warrant.
— A 62-year-old transient was arrested Saturday, 10:08 p.m. in the 500 block of North Carson Street for a misdemeanor warrant, violation of a suspended sentence, issued OCt. 25, 2016 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000.
— A 47-year-old transient, Sandi Lynn Aldrich, was booked into jail Saturday for a felony parole and probation warrant, and a gross misdemeanor warrant, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. Bail. She is being held without bail in lieu of a hearing.
— A 34-year-old Reno man was arrested Saturday, 3:24 p.m. for gross misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, and four misdemeanors: speeding, no insurance, expired registration and driving without a valid driver’s license. Bail: $3,613.
— A 25-year-old Reno woman, Lilly Stewart, was arrested Saturday, 8:08 a.m. in the area of West Winnie and North Carson streets for felony suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor DUI drugs and misdemeanor possession of a dangerous drug. Bail: $4,774.
— A 39-year-old transient, Melissa Jane Lewis, was arrested Saturday, 11:25 a.m. in the 1300 block of North Roop Street for felony suspicion of providing false identification to avoid prosecution, possession of a controlled substance, and two misdemeanors: violation of a suspended sentence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the arrest report, deputies were called to the area for a domestic dispute. Officer met with the parties involved. Lewis gave the officer a name that was not hers. Deputies were able to get a photo of the woman that the suspect used to identify herself and saw that it did not match. She was arrested. At jail the woman was found to be in possession of a meth pipe in her bra with methamphetamine inside. Bail: $16,637.
