The November Gobble Wine Walk kicks off in downtown Carson City followed by a new “Paths and Pedals” bike tour. Sierra Lutheran High School is also hosting a Christmas craft fair on Saturday. He is survived by his wife Amanda Buchanan, sons Bradley Buchanan of Ventura, California, and Kym Buchanan of Wisconsin, daughter Amy Buchanan-Rodriquez of Reno, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Carson City emergency crews respond to crash involving pedestrian at Hot Springs, Pine Lane
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Mon, 10/19/2020 - 6:48pmUPDATE 10:17PM: A 72-year-old male pedestrian was seriously injured and flown to the trauma ward at Renown Medical Center in Reno Monday night following a vehicle crash near a crosswalk at the intersection of Hot Springs Road and Pine Lane. Carson City Sheriff's Office Sgt. Nate Brehm said the driver of the vehicle is cooperating and told officers she didn't see the man.
Drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor, said Brehm. The victim was conscious and suffered injuries to his leg and hip. NHP is also involved in the accident investigation.

UPDATE 1:08PM: Carson City Fire Department advises Southwest Gas was able to shut off the line. Occupants of 609 Hot Springs Road that were evacuated are being let back in.

Carson City Senior Judge John Tatro presided over the hearing of Kahlil Deshaun Williams, who is being accused of kidnapping, attempted sexual assault of a minor under 14, lewdness with a minor under 14, and false imprisonment.

According to the report, Kahlil Deshawn Williams was arrested after deputies were dispatched to a convenience store on Hot Springs Road for a kidnapping.
