Carson City area road report for June 8-14: Roundabout work continues

South Carson Street Project
SNC crews are preparing the roundabout installment phase of the project. The construction map has been updated to reflect June 8-12 cone zone.
5th Street to Stewart St: SNC will be performing concrete work; one lane in each direction will be open, the cone zone will remain in place around-the-clock.
Stewart Street will be closed Monday — Wednesday. Detours at Little to Roop to Fairview, the closure will remain all week. Stewart will reopen to northbound traffic only Thursday and Friday.
Fairview Drive: SNC will be performing waterline work; one lane in each direction will be open around – the – clock.
Rhodes to Appion: SNC will be performing multi-use path work; one lane in each direction, the cone zone will remain in place around-the-clock.
Appion Way to Clearview: SNC will be performing electrical work. To include traffic lane shifts and driveway closures.
Roventini Way will be closed on Monday for trenching. Construction is subject to weather conditions.
Meanwhile, here is the Carson City area road report for the week. Closures are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— Airport Road will be closed in both directions between Woodside Drive and Minonee Lane, Monday through Friday, all day. Residential access will be allowed. JAC service will continue; however, detours will be in effect.
— Menlo Drive will be closed at Airport Road, Monday through Friday, all day.
— Retail Court will be closed east of College Parkway, Monday through Friday, all day. Access to the businesses will be maintained.
— Roop Street will be closed in the southbound direction only between Hot Springs Road and Northridge Drive, Monday through Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Southbound traffic will be detoured, but northbound traffic will be allowed.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— Airport Road may have overnight lane restrictions at the intersection of US 50, Monday through Tuesday, 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
— Fairview Drive will have a single lane closure southbound between Sweetwater Drive and Walker Drive, Wednesday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
— Fairview Drive will have eastbound and westbound single lane closures, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
— Roop Street will have single lane closures and lane shifts between Oregon Street and Little Lane, Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
— Russell Way will have narrowed lanes and flagger control at the intersection of Long Street, Monday through Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
— Saliman Road will have a southbound lane closure between Seely Loop (at Mills Park) and Robinson Street, Tuesday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
— William Street will be reduced to a single lane eastbound between Roop Street and Saliman Road, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
