2019 Sassabration to feature 2 Broke Kings at Carson Hot Springs

The 5th annual Sassabration celebrates diversity, community, equality. It will be held at Carson Hot Springs, Shoe Tree Brewery Company and Sassafras Eclectic Food Joint, 1500 Old Hot Springs Road in Carson City.

Activities and events to round out this third Thursday of the month include a meet and greet of Carson City Library candidates at Adams Hub for Innovation, a day hike, a bicycle cruise on the west side of the capital city, a Lunch and Learn Workshop for local nonprofit organizations, a chamber luncheon focusing on mental health, a GOP meeting, art showings, live music and more. Vacancy Report shows Carson City's tight market, new apartment complexes coming soon

According to the study, however, there are several projects either underway or waiting for approval, including new apartment complexes, industrial buildings, school expansions, a dog boarding facility, and more.

Carson City arrests: Man with revoked license for DUI jailed after crash that injured passenger

He was arrested for suspicion of felony DUI causing substantial bodily harm and other charges, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.

Appeal to stop Extended Stay RV Park adjacent to Carson City Airport Denied

Carson City emergency crews respond to separate vehicle crashes within minutes

Minutes later another crash was reported in the area of Roop and Hot Springs.
Carson City residents experience colored tap water as public works does system flushes

Public Works is currently spot checking and flushing the water systems and taps should be all clear within 24-hours.
24-hour ride in Carson City cycles in donations of more than $1,000 for Boys and Girls Club

On Jan. 30, the Carson City Planning Committee decided to approve a Special Use Permit for an extended stay RV park on property zoned Tourist Commercial located at 1400 Old Hot Springs Road. The maximum stay would be 180 days.
However, an appeal has been made to the Board of Supervisor's by a nearby property owner asking to revoke the Special Use Permit.
Board of Supervisors to discuss homeless teens, park funding and more
