Two Carson City Jail inmates were booked Friday on drug charges following an investigation into allegedly concealing prescription medication, according to a sheriff's office booking report.

A 63-year-old Carson City man was arrested Jan. 18 for suspicion of misdemeanor DUI and two counts resisting and obstructing, a sheriff's deputy report states.

A 28-year-old inmate at Carson City Jail was booked Monday for gross misdemeanor suspicion of destruction of jail property after damaging ceiling tiles in an attempt to escape, a sheriff's report states.
