The group focuses on the glory years of the US cavalry from 1846-1946. It also serves as the Governors of Nevada s mounted honor guard and participates in reenactments from the Civil War, Indian wars, to World War II across America. According to the First Nevada Cavalry, the most important thing they try to do is honor the US cavalrymen. And they always have a good time doing it.
