Carson City arrests: Man allegedly enters garages, arrested for sex offender failing to register
A 37-year-old man was arrested for suspicion of obstruction, trespassing and felony sex offender failing to register, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
Mario Jesus Quevedo was taken into custody Friday, April 19 following an investigation. According to the booking report, deputies were called to the area of Table Rock and Slide Mountain after a man was seen entering the garage of a private residence.
The reporting party scared the suspect off and then told deputies he saw the man enter another garage before running away again, the report states.
A CCSO sergeant advised they located the man and held him at gunpoint after another deputy saw him running from a residence. The suspect was identified as Quevedo by his license, which matched the description given by the reporting party.
