Concert Under the Stars cancelled due to COVID-19; Greenhouse Project to ramp up food grow effort

To our Community: The Greenhouse Project board in conjunction with John Procaccini and Chili Bop Productions, has concluded that in light of the current COVID-19 situation, this year’s Concert Under the Stars is cancelled. This event has taken place the last 11 years in order to grow a thriving agricultural education program on the campus of Carson High School.
We are blessed to be supported in our mission of educating our future agriculturalists, giving financial support to Capital FFA and providing fresh produce for our community’s food insecure. This would not be possible without each of you.
To address specific COVID-19 related concerns, TGP will be growing more produce to meet increased demand, is working on the best way to conduct our Mother’s Day Plant Sale on May 9 in a manner that promotes safety first, and is looking to move the popular Foothill Garden education series to an on-line format, as folks consider moving toward greater self-sufficiency and seek quality, locally tailored information.
Likewise, our sponsors have helped TGP’s work through monetary and in-kind donations. Their generosity has been and continues to be boundless.
