Our season starts on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, with a short meeting and continental breakfast at 9:00 a.m. and will have our shotgun at 9:30 a.m. Subsequent rounds are every Tuesday. Silver Oak Senior Men’s Club winners of the Club Championship

The competition recognizes both a gross score and net score (with handicap factored in)winner and is played on two consecutive Thursdays.

Congratulations to Vicki Barbaria who won Low Gross Over the Field and Loretta Szymanski who won Low Net Over the Field. Vicki shot a 173 (Gross) and Loretta shot a 135 (Net) over the two day tournament. Great job ladies and to all the ladies who participated!! Carson City dispatch notes it has been receiving numerous calls from citizens reporting a fire. The fire is a controlled burn done by the property and was, earlier, putting up a heavy amount of smoke.

PGA veteran to take helm at Dayton Valley Golf Course following ownership change

Tour Specs Golf Management principal owner, James (Jim) Kepler will also serve as course general manager. Kepler is a well-known PGA professional in Nevada and west coast golf communities.
