Larry Elliott rings in the Holidays for the Leisure Hour Club
Multi-talented entertainer Larry Elliott will help members of the Carson City Leisure Hour Club celebrate the holiday season at their dinner meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
Music Man Larry Elliott is an entertainer, singer, multi-instrumentalist, comedian and a professional actor. He's delighted audiences in person on stage all over the country from San Francisco and Los Angeles to New York, in addition is a regular on “Days of Our Lives” TV show and in the Oscar-nominated movie “The Cooler” among his credits.
He sings different era styles, from 20’s to present, plays piano, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, foot bass, accordion, banjo, auto harp, and provides a whole bunch of fun percussion instruments for audience participation.
If you would like to attend this event, please call Dorothy Link at (775) 885-2542 no later than Saturday, December 13 to make your reservation. The meeting is preceded by a buffet dinner at 6:30 in the Carson Nugget Capitol Ballroom. Reservations for dinner are required.
The Leisure Hour Club, established in September of 1896, is Carson City’s oldest continuously operating social organization. Continuing to celebrate its 118th year, the organization continues to focus on its goal of promoting knowledge on important issues, science, music and literature.
