She now serves as a volunteer advocate on behalf of legislation impacting seniors. At Monday's luncheon, she will talk about the role she plays in the University of Nevada, Reno’s NEST (Nevada Ensures Support Together) program, which addresses the social service needs of older Nevadans.

Celtic mandolin master Marla Fibish, and guitarist Bruce Victor will be joining forces with Marin County's Irish fiddle virtuoso Suzuki Cady. With elegant performances of intimate songs and intricate Celtic tunes, Noctambule remains a BAC favorite since the beginning of our Celtic Music Series.

In 1964, at the age of 13, he and his family moved to Carson City, the Capital of Nevada. It was there, playing in the school band, that Joe had discovered a love of music that would become the muse that he would follow the rest of his life.
