"Jim" Wilson, Jr., presiding judge for Department II of the First Judicial District Court, which serves Carson City and Storey Counties. First elected in 2008, Judge Wilson was re-elected unopposed in the 2014 primary and was re-elected again running unopposed in this year's primary.

He was found later located and detained in the 800 block of North Carson Street.

NDOT to resurface Centerville Lane in Douglas, weather pushes up start date to June 9

Stewart Street in Carson City will be closed to southbound traffic with detours at Little to Roop to Fairview, the closure will remain all week. Stewart Street will be open to northbound traffic only.

Carson City deputies make warrant arrest after report of man throwing orange cones across Carson Street

According to the report, Bryant Bennett Jayne was arrested after deputies were dispatched to a local motel on a report of a man throwing orange road cones across South Carson Street and yelling at the reporting party.
Traffic accident with injuries reported at Northridge and Roop

A bicyclist was hit but was able to get up and walk away from the scene.
First responders are enroute now.
Motorists should seek alternate routes.

Traffic accident reported at College Parkway and Northbound I-580

Nevada Highway Patrol reported the accident to Carson City dispatch.
First responders are en route.

Ash Canyon Road trailhead reopened for motorized use
