Carson City first responders called to traffic accident involving a child on I-580 in Carson City

His father did not have his cell phone on his person and ran up to the freeway to flag down help.
The little boy is doing well.

According to dispatch a traffic accident involving a child occurred just after 6:20 p.m. Friday evening.
The accident occurred on Northbound I-580 just past 5th Street overpass.
Dispatch advised an accident may have occurred after a child was riding a bike on the freeway.

Injury accident reported in front of Max Casino involving vehicle and light pole

The engine on scene has requested a rescue.
Motorists should avoid the area if possible.
Traffic is currently blocked according to those on scene.
Non-injury accident reporter at 5th Street and South Carson Meadows

There are no injuries at this time.
Motorists should seek alternate routes or use caution in the area if no alternate routes are available.
Traffic is currently blocked in the eastbound lane.

Under the very different circumstances and with consideration to the health and safety of Sheriff’s Office staff, families, and friends, limited attendance was permitted to the ceremony honoring Lieutenant Mays, Sergeant Tucker, and Deputy Robbins.
Vehicle crash with injury reported at William and Roop, traffic to be diverted

During this time, all unemployment insurance functions, including unemployment insurance filing will not be functional. Filers are encouraged to visit the site after 7 p.m. on Saturday evening.
