Carson City District Attorney Jason Woodbury announced Wednesday that his office will not file criminal charges relating to an altercation between Douglas County Commission Chairman Barry Penzel and Commissioner John Engels earlier this year.

Reno Police tells KTVN that the victim is being treated at the hospital at this time.

UPDATE 1:10PM: Douglas County Sheriff's Office advises the suspect in the vehicle pursuit is in custody in the area of Dresslerville and Highway 88. A female who was with the suspect got out of the vehicle prior to the stop. She was last seen in the area of Airport and Highway 395.
