A 35-year-old Reno man was arrested by Special Enforcement Team deputies on four felony warrants including sexual assault and invasion of privacy and is being held on a $250,000 bail.

According to the report, Jonathan Keith Graves was arrested after deputies received information that Graves had an outstanding felony warrant issued on Sept. 13, 2019 for sexual assault and intrusion of privacy with an electronic device. They learned that Graves would be driving from Douglas County to Washoe County between the hours of 5 and 6 p.m.

CARSON CITY — Nevada Department of Public Safety Director George Togliatti announced the appointment of Daniel Solow as Colonel of the Nevada Highway Patrol effective Monday, Nov. 8, 2019.

Colonel Solow was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in December 2017 and has been with the Department since 1995, beginning his career with the Nevada DPS as a Trooper serving the Laughlin/Searchlight district. The previous NHP Colonel, John O'Rourke, retired in August 2019.

UPDATE 8:56PM: The 60-year-old male pedestrian in Tuesday evening's accident was flown to Renown Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, according to CCSO. The driver of the vehicle that struck him was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected. NHP is investigating a separate incident, a hit and run crash, in which a vehicle struck a parked CCSO patrol vehicle and then fled the scene. The parked patrol vehicle was on the scene of the pedestrian crash.

A vehicle crash late Tuesday afternoon involving a motorcycle and SUV that caused serious injury has shut down traffic on US-95A near Silver Springs, according to the The Nevada Highway Patrol.

UPDATE: NHP said it had all lanes cleared at 7:45 p.m. Sunday. The cause of the two-vehicle crash is under investigation.

The Nevada Highway Patrol reports a serious injury crash late Sunday afternoon has shut down both eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 50 near Tall Pines Road in the Glenbrook area at Lake Tahoe.

The Nevada Highway Patrol has identified a Dayton man as the victim in Saturday's fatal crash involving three vehicles on Highway 50 and Deer Run Road in Carson City.

What began as an attempt to serve a felony warrant out of Sacramento led to a high-speed police chase involving multiple jurisdictions Friday night, culminating in a single vehicle crash on Old 395 near the I-580 exit.

Just after 5 p.m. Carson City deputies attempted to pull over a silver 4-door Nissan SUV near Goni and Arrowhead, according to dispatch, in connection with a felony warrant out of Sacramento.

Nevada Highway Patrol reports one person died and another suffering life threatening injuries in a crash that happened Tuesday morning on U.S. 50 and Sheckler west of Fallon, shutting down the highway.

The Nevada Highway Patrol and other Nevada law enforcement agencies participating in Joining Forces will be combining resources from Oct. 18 through Nov. 4, 2019 to apprehend impaired drivers.

The Nevada Highway Patrol has identified a 34-year-old Reno man who died in a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon in Storey County.

Central Lyon County fire and paramedics and the Nevada Highway Patrol responded Wednesday afternoon to a crash involving multiple vehicles in the area of US95-A and Ninth Street in Silver Springs.

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that happened Sept. 14, 2019 involving two vehicles in which two people died.

Just before 11:15 a.m. Saturday first responders, NHP and the Carson City Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a motorcycle accident with possible injury at the Williams exit of 1-580.

Motorists should avoid the area if possible.

Carson City Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the area of Highway 50 E. and Deer Run Road following a non-injury accident at 11:30 a.m. Friday morning.

According to dispatch, the road is blocked and NHP is also responding.

Carson City Fire Department and the Nevada Highway Patrol were called to a traffic accident on I-580 near Spooner Junction at Highway 50 and another crash on Carson Street.

Nevada Highway Patrol reported a fatal head-on crash Saturday morning on Highway 95A and Lyon County MM 27 (Wabuska). Two fatalities were confirmed, and both lanes were shut down while the fatal team was enroute.

As of 9:05 a.m., all travel lanes opened.

The names of the deceased and circumstances of the deaths have not been released as of yet.

According to the police report, two teenagers were arrested in a store parking lot in the 1900 block of N. Carson Street for engaging in a physical altercation while a two-month-old infant between them.

A 19-year-old transient man and an 18-year-old transient woman were booked on child neglect/endangerment and domestic battery first after several concerned citizens called deputies to respond to a fight. The reporting parties stated there was a man and a woman physically fighting in the parking lot and pulling an infant from each other during the fight.

The Nevada Highway Patrol has identified a 92-year-old Carson City woman who died in a vehicle crash Tuesday evening on Highway 50 East and Airport Road.

UPDATE 8:26PM: The Nevada Highway Patrol has confirmed one person has died in the Tuesday night crash at Highway 50 near Airport Road. The cause is under investigation. One vehicle involved left the scene of the crash. NHP had earlier advised it was looking for a suspect vehicle with heavy front end damage. At 8:41 p.m., NHP advised it was no longer looking for the vehicle. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.

UPDATE 8:05PM: Care Flight air ambulances have taken patients from the separate crashes that happened Tuesday night on Highway 50 East and Highway 50 West to the hospital, according to Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Hannah DeGoey.

There was a fatal crash involving a single motorcycle on Highway 50 West Spooner on Saturday night, one mile above the junction of Highway 395 near the Carson City, Douglas County line.

A 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested late Saturday on a felony fugitive from justice warrant after a standoff with Carson City sheriff's deputies.

A standoff involving a man facing extradition for a parole absconder warrant out of Texas ended safely late Saturday night with the suspect taken into custody.

The incident happened at an apartment in the area of Airport Road and Menlo streets and ended with the man surrendering without force, according to Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong.
