Carson City Fire Department and the Nevada Highway Patrol were responded Thursday evening to a vehicle crash in the southbound lane of South Carson Street and Old Clear Creek.

The Nevada Highway Patrol reports there was a fatal crash Monday evening involving a pedestrian in the area of Highway 50 and Red Rock in Mound House, east of Carson City.

Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) and Carson City Firefighter-Paramedics are on scene of a two-vehicle rear-end accident causing some reported injury, extent of which is unknown at this time.

Emergency crews report minor damage to the involved vehicles, which are partially blocking the intersection. Motorists in the area should use extra caution and consider an alternate route of travel as there may be some delays.

One person was transported by Care Flight and the other rider was taken by ground ambulance. Their conditions are unknown at this time. NHP is investigating the crash.

Carson City Fire Department, sheriff's deputies and the Nevada Highway Patrol were called Friday afternoon to a crash involving two motorcycles and a truck in the area of Highway 50 East near Arrowhead and Deer Run Road.

The Nevada Highway Patrol said Tuesday that it has made an arrest in connection with a fatal crash that happened Jan. 6 on South Carson Street in which an 81-year-old woman died.
