Team Tatro Join RE/MAX Realty Affiliates
Mother and daughter Kathy Tatro and Adrienne Jordan Phenix, also known as Team Tatro, have joined the RE/MAX Realty Affiliates office in Carson City.
Tatro has been a licensed Realtor since 1997. The very first year she was named “Rookie of the Year” by the Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors, an honor that is very rarely given. She loves real estate and it is obvious. In 2001, she was named one of the Top 50 Realtors for the State of Nevada during the 50th anniversary celebrations for the Nevada Association of Realtors.
She has served on the Board of Directors of the Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors in many capacities, including her most recent term as president in 2014, and was named Realtor of the Year in 2014. Tatro (and Team Tatro) have been voted No. 1 Realtor by Nevada Appeal readers every year from 2005 through 2015.
Phenix earned her real estate license in 2009, after graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing. She joined Tatro at that time, and Team Tatro was formed. Phenix recently obtained her master’s degree in education but has decided she really loves being a Realtor.
“I had worked totally on my own when Adrienne decided to become a Realtor and work with me,” said Tatro. “Having done things my own way for 14 years, it was a little bit tough at first listening to Adrienne’s ideas about what we should do. I soon learned she was usually right, and I am so proud of the Realtor she has become in the last six years!”
Tatro earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Utah and served the Carson City legal community as a paralegal and a Pro Tem Justice of the Peace for many years. Since earning her real estate license, she has also earned the following real estate designations: Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Graduate Realtor institute (GRI), and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) which fewer than five percent of all Realtors nationally have achieved.
Team Tatro gives back to the community in a variety of ways including: creating art projects and displays for the Children's Museum of Northern Nevada when it opened, serving on the Carson City Library Foundation for 13 years, serving on the Carson-Tahoe Hospital Foundation for three years, and serving on the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada for 18 years, including serving as President of the Board in 2011.
