Beginning its production run Friday, Dec. 1 in Carson City, "Cats the Musical Young Actor's Edition" is a "meow-tastic," one-hour adaptation of one of Broadway's longest-running hits, brought to life by the creative genius of Andrew Lloyd Webber. Bethlehem Lutheran Preschool in Carson City will host a preschool open house on Monday, Feb. 8, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again on Friday, March 26, 2021, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Juan’s Mexican Grill to open Monday in Downtown Carson City

Carson City’s newest Mexican eatery will be officially opening this Monday, Jan. 18 in its new downtown home.

Owners Juan and Maria Salazar have been running the first location of Juan’s Mexican Grill for years inside the Comstock Casino and this new location, which took over the venue left vacant by Battle Born Social, will be their second.

This is not their first time serving up Mexican cuisine in the downtown area. Juan’s used to operate both inside the old Mo and Sluggo’s (now the Pourhouse) as well as the Horseshoe Club (now closed).
