34th Annual Bowers Mansion Bluegrass Festival returns this weekend
The 34th annual Bowers Mansion Bluegrass Festival is back this weekend from Aug. 16-18 beginning with the Rattlesnake Mountain Boys kicking things off at the Davis Creek Amphitheater at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Bluegrass bands both national and local will convene at the historic mansion along with kids activities, food trucks, games, and more!
Attendees should bring low-backed chairs or picnic blankets to enjoy, and spots are on a first-come first-serve basis.
The band lineup on Saturday is as follows:

12:05 The Note Ables
12:45 Westwind
1:40 Young’ns Showcase - Sevina & Sammy and Friends
2:20 Edgar Loudermilk Band

4:45 Wayne Taylor and Appaloosa
Sunday morning, the festival will wrap up with a non-denominational Gospel show with the Sunday Go to Meeting’ Band at the Davis Creek Amphitheater from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Advance tickets are $30, at the gate $35. Friday and Sunday shows are free.
Saturday is the main festival day, and is a ticketed event. Tickets can be purchased online at www.nnba.org
