Sierra Arts Foundation to host Holiday Music and Art Festival at Carson City's Silver Saddle Ranch
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Thu, 10/26/2023 - 11:45amSierra Arts Foundation, a nonprofit that advocates for arts and the artists that create it within a 200 mile radius of the Reno, Sparks region, is hosting the first Holiday Music and Art Festival in partnership with the Carson City Parks and Recreation department at Silver Saddle Ranch on Nov. 18.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free to the public. It will feature artists, vendors, musicians and other nonprofit groups in advance of the holiday season.

While not illegal or encouraged, the Carson City Sheriff's Office is staffed up to make sure that whoever chooses to do anything non-sanctioned, including independent parading on Carson Street, that whatever they choose to do is done without breaking the law.
