Holiday Bazaar Offers Crafts and Foods Galore in a Warm, Festive Atmosphere
St. Peter's Episcopal Church in downtown Carson City at Telegraph and Division streets offers its annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday November 12 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The bazaar features crafters who won a total of 19 ribbons at the 2015 Nevada State Fair. Raffle tickets will be on sale for "The Secret Garden," a highly imaginative appliquéd quilt with William Morris inspired floral motifs.
Items for sale include a variety of hand-crafted note cards, hand-made apparel, accessories, and items for the home. Specialty dolls, soft and huggable, will provide unique gifts. Holiday decor and ornaments will adorn the centerpiece Christmas tree. Gently used china, silver, and quality tableware will be found in Classic Treasures. The Food Room will be full of homemade treats, including preserves, cookies, cakes, breads, and candies. A large selection of crafted jewelry and gently used jewelry will also be available.
The Sidewalk Café returns by popular demand. Before or after shopping, visitors can enjoy New Orleans beignets and southern gumbo. Decorated shopping areas inside this historic church aim to present a warm, festive beginning to the holiday season for shoppers and visitors alike.
