Registration begins for 2nd Veteran Appreciation, Awareness Brunch at Governor's Mansion
Nevada Rural Counties RSVP Program will host its second Reaching For Zero: A Veteran Appreciation and Veteran Suicide Prevention and Awareness Brunch on Saturday, April 13 at the Governor's Mansion in Carson City.
Reaching For Zero will feature a fabulous Paella brunch, notable speakers, Color Guard by Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 989 of Reno, live music by Mile High Jazz Band, an exciting silent auction and raffle with a chance to win 2 round-trip flight tickets to Any Southwest Airlines destination.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. inside the Nevada Room at the Governor's Mansion. All proceeds go toward services for Veterans and will help raise awareness of Veteran issues and provide Veterans with suicide prevention resources, emergency transportation, wellness checks, and a wide-ranging support system.
Ticket are $50 per person, $90 per couple, $400 per table of 8.
