Giomi serves as the Board of Supervisor's representative on the Carson City Cultural and Tourism Authority, the Carson Water Sub-Conservancy District, and the Western Nevada Legislative Coalition. He is also Carson City’s representative to the Nevada Association of Counties.

Annie was born January 4,1940 in Cleveland, Oklahoma to Jay and Mamie Hart. She attended public schools in Seminole, Cushing, and Stroud, Oklahoma. Annie moved to Sterling, Colorado in 1959 where she met and married Kenneth Trautwein the same year.

Not only are fireworks potentially dangerous and could start wildfires, private use of fireworks is illegal in Carson City. The Carson City Sheriff's Department will enforce the law to the fullest extent, as lighting fireworks is a misdemeanor offense.
