New surveillance photos have been released by the Carson City Sheriff's Office of the suspect wanted in the theft of around $2,000 from a Carson City casino cashier cage.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify suspects in a theft of a wallet and use of stolen credit cards. On Dec. 7 2019, a victim reported her wallet was stolen from her purse while she was shopping at Raley’s grocery store at 3701 South Carson Street in Carson City.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office along with the Reno Police Department are investigating a potential connection between two recent burglary incidents in which two entire ATM machines were stolen from South Reno and Dayton.

According to Lyon County Sheriff's Office Detective Lieutenant Jerry Pattinson, the two local law enforcement agencies are looking into a concrete connection between the two offenses, and yesterday the FBI was on scene in Dayton.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office released this statement regarding the crime yesterday:

Sometime around 2 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, one or more individuals stole a trailer containing a piece of construction equipment from the lot of a construction company in Lyon County. They drove the trailer to the Greater Nevada Credit Union in Dayton where they used the construction equipment to rip an ATM machine from the ground, placing it on the trailer.

A 34-year-old Dayton woman was arrested Saturday by the Carson City Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Team for suspicion of child abuse causing substantial bodily harm, burglary, grand larceny, possession of meth and heroin and other charges.

A 35-year-old Reno man was arrested by Special Enforcement Team deputies on four felony warrants including sexual assault and invasion of privacy and is being held on a $250,000 bail.

According to the report, Jonathan Keith Graves was arrested after deputies received information that Graves had an outstanding felony warrant issued on Sept. 13, 2019 for sexual assault and intrusion of privacy with an electronic device. In addition, according to the report, the right tail lamp of the vehicle was broken and the license plate light was not functioning.

Carson City Special Enforcement Team deputies arrested two people on a slew of offenses including organized retail theft, conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substance act, possession of stolen property valued over $650, sales of a controlled substance, and more.

There are a number of prescription drug roundups happening this Saturday, Oct. 19 around the region, including drop-off stations in Carson City, Douglas County and Dayton.

These annual events help protect the community with proper disposal of unused or expired prescription drugs, over-the-counter products, prescription liquids, pet medications, syringes and more. The effort is part of the federal drug round-up initiative.
