Capital City Community Band announces Nevada Day Concert

The concert will feature a variety of music from Big Band sounds to Marches, Patriotic songs and Halloween favorites.

Fort Churchill State Historic Park to celebrate All Hallows’ Eve

Calvary Chapel Carson Valley's Annual Harvest Festival

Admission is a suggested donation of two unopened bags of candy per family.
Douglas County Sheriff’s Office host annual Fright Night at Fairgrounds weekends in October

Last year, approximately 1000 children participated and we expect a bigger crowd this year. In an effort to create a safe and family friendly Halloween experience, Carson City Park, Recreation & Open Space has partnered with the Carson City Library. The Community Center will be opened for trick or treating, haunted house, and outdoor carnival.

As well as her three children, she leaves a daughter in law, Veronica (Mrs. Jeremy Sheldon) and beloved grandchildren,
