Events locally include a ribbon cutting and outdoor moving showing at the new Schulz Ranch Park, workshops, a women's safety meeting, a pumpkin patch for kids at Carson Mall, plus art showings and public talks. SET deputies arrest four in connection with felony drug crimes from local inn

A 20-year-old Carson City woman, a 33-year-old Carson City man, a 27-year-old Carson City man, and a 33-year-old Carson City man were arrested in the 200 block of W. Caroline for several drug-related felonies.

Special Enforcement Team deputies arrested the Sarina Welch, Graften James Dodge, Trevor Hammond, and Ronald Nigra after SET received several tips, information and complaints regarding drug use and sales at a room in a downtown Carson City Inn.

UPDATE: Due to weather concerns, the Pirate Pup Parade will be moved indoors outside of the Black Box Theater at the Brewery Arts Center. The film showing of "Hook" will be held in the BAC Performance Hall. Food Trucks will be outside in the parking lot.

DLL Technologies held its ribbon cutting ceremony at Adams Hub in downtown Carson City on Wednesday.

Next year, 2020, will mark 15 years of business for DLL Technologies. In celebration, they kicked off the opening of its second location in the Northern Nevada area.

According to a letter sent out to Carson City residents and business owners, The Basil on Carson Street announced that it will be closing on Sept. 12, 2019.
