Carson City firefighters save dog in second floor fire at St. Charles

He said the sprinklers from the second story flooded the brewery and parts of the walk-in refrigeration, and they had to throw away a lot of food. They also lost most of their lunch business for the day.
"I am sure there is ceiling damages, I just do not know how much at this point," Phalan said. "But we didn't lose any beer."
He also thanked the first responders for saving the dog and the hotel. "Who knows how much worse it could have been," he said.

Nye Lane Monday night for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery and DUI after allegedly calling a child racist slurs, body slamming a woman, pretending to stab himself in the leg with a kitchen knife, threatening to commit suicide by cop and fleeing the scene with a BB gun.
