Carson City arrests: Two jailed in separate domestic battery incidents
A 47-year-old transient was arrested Thursday in the 1100 block of East William Street for felony suspicion of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and having suspended license plates.
According to the arrest report, a deputy patrolling the area of Mills Park made a welfare check on a vehicle in which the plates were suspended. The deputy observed a man, David Bulman, inside the vehicle and the windows fogged. The officer asked the man what he was doing in the park. The man would not make eye contact with the deputy and was making rapid twitching movements.
A K9 did an exterior sniff of the vehicle, which alerted positive. The officer located a methamphetamine pipe and multiple small baggies containing methamphetamine. Bulman was arrested at 5:46 p.m. Bail: $3,749.
— A 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday, 2:31 p.m. in the 100 block of Lake Glen Drive for misdemeanor suspicion of domestic battery.
According to the arrest report, a father and son got into an argument with the son going after the father, pushing him resulting in a physical altercation. The son was determined to be the primary aggressor. Bail: $3,137.
— A 25-year-old Carson City man was booked into jail Thursday, 4:49 p.m. for a misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence warrant. Bail: $1,000.
— A 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday, 11:03 a.m. in the area of North Roop and Washington Street for misdemeanor suspicion of domestic battery.
According to the arrest report, a deputy was dispatched to a residence for a report of a domestic battery. The officer met with the father of the suspect who said his son battered him, tried to choke him and tore his shirt when they got into an argument.
The officer observed minor yet visible injuries on the victim, the arrest report states. The suspect told the deputy he did try to choke his father and that he blacked out. Bail: $3,137.
