Carson City Sheriff: Suspect in custody, victim seriously injured in King Street apartment stabbing
UPDATE 11:01PM: The Carson City Sheriff's Office has identified Kenneth Paz, 38, as the suspect involved in the Wednesday night stabbing at a King Street apartment. Paz had allegedly gotten into fight as the victim’s daughter was moving out of her apartment and stabbed the male victim. He was arrested at the scene without incident and charged with battery with a deadly weapon. He is being held in the Carson City Jail with a $30,000 bail.

UPDATE 10:14PM: A man who was stabbed Wednesday night at a King Street apartment is in stable condition after surgery, said Carson City Sheriff's Office Capt. Brian Humphrey.

UPDATE 7:38PM: The victim was seriously injured in the stabbing and was flown to Renown Medical Center. A man was taken into custody and faces a felony charge of battery with a deadly weapon, said Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong. Detectives remain on scene and are investigating.

Carson City sheriff's deputies were called Wednesday to a fight in the 600 block of West King Street in which one person was stabbed in the stomach.
The incident was reported to dispatch at around 5:30 p.m. Carson City Fire Department was responding and ordered a medical helicopter, that landed nearby. There is a man in custody who is suspected of the stabbing, said Carson City Sheriff's Office Sgt. Mike Cullen.
The stabbing occurred at the King Street Apartments across from Bordewich Bray Elementary School.
