Brewery Arts Center lays off professional staff, will continue to operate with volunteers
The Brewery Arts Center has announced that the organization is going through a reorganization and has let go its professional staff, but will continue to operate its current programs with help from volunteers.
The following statement was posted on the organization's website:
During an examination of our organizational structure as part of our strategic planning process, the Brewery Arts Center board has determined that in order to better serve our public, nurture organizational health and work toward ensuring organizational stability, the Brewery Arts Center is currently operating without professional staff. The board members have stepped in to maintain core activities and programming and our doors are open. We have been and remain grateful for the support of this community and we look forward to continuing to provide vibrant arts and culture programs for the residents and visitors of Nevada’s capitol city. Thank you for your continued support, if you should have questions, please send them to Chris Bayer, Board Chairman, Brewery Arts Center; cwbayer@breweryarts.org
We will have more information as it becomes available.
