Coffee with Congressman Mark Amodei scheduled Wednesday
Congressman Mark Amodei, now on congressional break, will be addressing members of the Carson City Chamber of Commerce and interested community members at a special coffee session scheduled at 8 a.m. Wednesday, August 24 at the Silver Oak Golf Executive Conference Center.
Since serving in the House of Representatives, Congressman Amodei has continued his pro-business stance and has been recognized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for his pro-business voting record.
A Carson City native and 1976 graduate of Carson High and student class president, Mr. Amodei was first elected to the U. S. Congress in 2011 and spends as much time in his large district as he can. His home is Carson City.
He will address the coming presidential election from the Washington DC perspective and will enlighten attendees on the last days of the Obama era.
The Coffee with Mark Amodei event is free, but those wishing to attend must RSVP by calling the Chamber at 882-1565.
— Ronni Hannaman is the executive director of the Carson City Chamber of Commerce.
