Douglas authorities ask for help identifying man who allegedly stole electronics at Target store
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man it considers a person of interest involved in a theft last month at the Target Store south of Carson City. A reward is being offered.
On July 20, 2014 at 4:40 p.m., the man in the photos above entered Target at 911 Jacks Valley Road and walked to the electronics section. While in electronics he removed electronics from the packaging and walked out of the store without paying for the merchandise, said Douglas County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Pat Brooks.
The man is described as a white male adult, approximately 5'11" and 200 pounds with buzz cut hair, and was wearing a plaid shirt with sleeves rolled up and dark jeans with sunglasses on his head.
Another male accomplice was waiting in the parking lot. There isn't a description on the driver, who was seen leaving in an older white Ford Bronco with a license plate similar to 007LXY/NV.
In another case of alleged theft, this time at the Walmart in Gardnerville, DCSO is looking to identify two men who allegedly scanned merchandise without paying on July 19. Go here for more information.
A reward is being offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of the suspect. Your identity is not needed and you will remain anonymous.
Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to call DCSO Dispatch at (775) 782-5126 or Douglas County Secret Witness at: 775-78-CRIME (775-782-7463) or DCSO Investigator Ed Garren at 775-782-9907.
