Carson City deputies make arrests for shoplifting, warrants
A 38-year-old man and 29-year-old woman were arrested at Walmart for suspicion of misdemeanor shoplifting, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.
The male also faces a misdemeanor charge of violation of pre-trial supervision. According to the arrest report, a sheriff's deputy was called Saturday to Walmart in the 3200 block of Market Street in reference to a petit larceny. Store security had detained the couple by the time the deputy arrived.
Both admitted stealing from the store, including a wire brush, a bag of sugar and an air chuck belonging to Walmart among other items. Store security advised the value of the items stolen amounted to $85.68.
A records check with dispatch showed the male was under the Department of Alternative Sentencing through Carson City Justice Court and was in violation of those conditions. Bail for the man: $3,352. Bail for the woman: $352.

— A 30-year-old Carson City man was booked Monday, 12:09 p.m. for a gross misdemeanor warrant alleging unlawful occupancy of real property. The warrant was issued February 28, 2017 out of Las Vegas Justice Court
— A 28-year-old Carson City man was booked into Carson City Jail early Tuesday morning for two misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence warrants issued June 26, 2019 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $6,000.
— A 31-year-old man was arrested Monday, 5:31 a.m. in the 1100 block of North Saliman Road for a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant issued Oct. 30, 2018 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $490.
