Nevada Builders Alliance, Heritage Bank team to finish historic Carson City Bank Saloon renovation

Nevada Builders Alliance, the state’s largest construction trade association, has partnered with Heritage Bank of Nevada to complete a renovation of the historic building, formerly Jack’s Bar, in downtown Carson City.
The iconic property across the street from the Nevada Legislature was purchased by Nevada Builders in 2018 and, assisted by a line of credit from Heritage Bank, is projected to open October 2020. For more information on the Bank Saloon visit www.banksaloonnv.com.
“We are beyond grateful to have local partners like Heritage Bank that are willing to invest in our communities,” said Aaron West, CEO of Nevada Builders Alliance. “The Bank Saloon is a prime example of various forces coming together to improve, enrich and revitalize the heart of downtown Carson City. With the help of Miles Construction, Nevada Builders began renovating the building, which is on the National Registry of Historic Buildings, in early April of 2019. Rather than remove the dilapidated structure, the groups worked to preserve and stabilize the existing facade, ensuring its longevity for the future. The design of the new bar revitalizes the property as the Bank Saloon, the original name it opened as in 1899. It will include a full-service bar, patio seating and a separate conference room for meetings or private parties.
