Carson City Deputies make three felony arrests Friday night
A 39-year-old Mound House man and a 60-year-old Mound House woman were arrested in the 5900 block of Highway 50 E late Friday night for a felony Parole and Probation violation, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dwayne Richard Enoch and Angela Jean Enoch were taken into custody by Special Enforcement Team deputies after deputies observed a ford pickup with a non-functioning front right marker light. They were also traveling around 60 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop and spoke with the driver, Dwayne, and passenger, Angela.
A K-9 Deputy was dispatched who conducted a free air exterior sniff of the vehicle. The K-9 Deputy alerted to the presence of drug odor within the vehicle.
Inside the vehicle, deputies located a blue vial which contained methamphetamine, 3 plastic tooter straws, and a mirror with drug residue on it. All items were located inside a woman’s purse located on the floorboard near Angela’s feet.
Dispatch advised Dwayne was on supervision under the Department of Parole and Probation. A hold was placed on him.
Both were taken into custody without incident and their vehicle impounded.
Dwayne: Parole and Probation hold; No Bail.
Angela: Possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia; $3,637
— A 23-year-old Sun Valley man was arrested in the area of Robin and Fall Streets early Saturday morning for a felony parole and probation hold.
Francisco Alberto Gutierrez was arrested after deputies were on patrol and viewed what appeared to be a person lying in the middle of the road in front of a car at the intersection of Robinson and Fall.
Deputies stopped the vehicle and spoke with Gutierrez, who was standing at the passenger door of the vehicle with a woman. The woman said she tripped while getting out of the vehicle. Deputies could smell an alcoholic beverage emitting from Gutierrez.
Deputies asked for his ID, and he told them he was on State Probation. He submitted a PBT which resulted in a .078 BAC, a violation of his probation.
He was taken into custody without issue.
No Bail.
