These eggs are made for dropping
More than 30 local kids participated in an egg drop competition Saturday at the Carson City Library. The contest involved creating protective packaging for an uncooked egg, which was then dropped from the roof.
Prizes were awarded for creativity and successfully protecting the egg. The month-long Discover Tech exhibit, which introduces kids to all aspects of engineering, is open through May 24 and wraps up this week with the Trebuchet catapult competition on Friday at Mills Park.
