High Sierra Flycasters 2012 Fundraiser
Ready for some good company to help you get tuned up for spring fishing? There’s nothing like the reminiscences of trips of the past and the anticipation of a new season to get the piscatorial juices flowing.
If this sounds like something for you, come to the High Sierra Flycasters Fund Raiser on Saturday March 10.
You can see the Weirachs’ photo history of the past years’ catches, meet up with old friends, make some new ones, and try for some nice prizes.
All this is to the music of Linda Sandstrom and dinner by Todd Wilcks’ Hey Ewe Barbecue.
HSFC fund raising supports quality fly fishing in western Nevada and eastern California. If you would like to stay informed on conditions and timely topics we have monthly fishing trips and meeting with interesting programs plus a great website at www.hsfc.us.
Both events are open to the public.
We also sponsor fishing programs for veterans, for cancer patients, and outings for children with cancer and their families.
So if you would like to join us we are in a new location this year.
Our event will be at St. Gall’s Pastoral Center on Saturday March 10th.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at the Angler’s Edge at 1506 Highway 395, Gardnerville.
The no-host bar opens at 5:30 and dinner is at 7 p.m., and seating is limited so if you want to go, get your tickets early.
We hope to see you there.
