Carson City driver injured in crash with school bus
The driver of a car collided with the rear end of school bus late Friday morning near the intersection of Highway 50 East and Lompa Lane. The bus didn't have any children inside.
The driver of the car was taken by ambulance to Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries, said Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Dan Lopez. She was issued a citation for the crash. The driver of the bus was not injured.
The accident was reported at 11:03 a.m. The Carson City Sheriff's Office assisted with traffic control and Carson City Fire Department responded with an ambulance.
