Free event--Bring the entire famiily for an action-packed day at the Carson City Airport with flybys, activities, food and more. Watch amazing flybys of exciting aircraft such as the B25 Bomber, Cobra Helicopter, P51 Mustang, plus planes and jets. Watch these aircraft land at the airport, then visit them up close and personal. Activities include plane and hot air balloon rides, bounce house, face painting, martial arts and tumbling demonstrationis, food and beverages and much more. Event starts at 8:00AM with a pancake breakfast, plus activities throughout the day.

After spending decades helping so many here in Carson City, Vikki Hopkins finds herself on the receiving end of that help today. In September 2010 she was diagnosed with an advanced form of lung cancer. Upon hearing about it, her co-workers started spreading the word about her struggle. Almost immediately a movement began to help Vikki and her family with this struggle. The response was immediate and overwhelming. People from all over the city began to ask what they could do to help, so a benefit fundraiser was arranged.
