Carson City arrest report: Man booked for felony warrants alleging domestic battery
A 28-year-old man was booked Tuesday into Carson City Jail for two felony warrants alleging domestic battery with a prior felony and domestic battery causing substantial bodily harm, a sheriff's office booking report states.
Daniel Lee Webb, who was in custody at Carson City Jail, was booked for the warrants issued Oct. 5, 2020 out of Dayton Township Justice Court. Bail: $30,000.
In other arrests:
— A 40-year-old Stagecoach man, Michael Edwin Lawson, was arrested Wednesday in the 3000 block of North Roop Street for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
According to the arrest report, deputies were called to a convenience store for a traffic stop investigation involving a K-9 exterior exterior sniff of a vehicle.
The man was told he was going to be patted down for weapons in which the man informed the deputy he had a knife in his front right pocket, the arrest report states. He further stated he didn't have anything illegal in his pockets. The officer asked if he could check his pockets for anything illegal. The man replied "go ahead," the arrest report states.
During the search of his pockets, the officer located a clear plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine. He was arrested for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. Bail: $2,500.
— A 56-year-old Carson City man was arrested Dec. 8 for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery.
According to the arrest report, the man allegedly punched his wife in the back of the head with a closed fist.
According to the arrest report, the investigating deputy learned the two were arguing and that it became physical when the husband allegedly punched his wife. The deputy could feel a knot on the woman's head were she said was punched. The officer took photos of the wound for evidence.
Officers interviewed the husband, who stated the two were arguing, that it was verbal and denied hitting his wife. When the man was asked about the knot on the back of her head, the man stated he didn't know and that his wife was lying.
The man was arrested for suspicion of domestic battery. Bail: $3,137.
