Friday is the Last Day to Early-Vote in Carson City for 2020 General Election; over 50 percent of voters have gone to polls statewide
Happy Friday, Carson City! Today is the last day to early vote in person in Carson City, so be sure to get to the Community Center today to cast your ballot!
Here are the updates for early voter turnout as of Friday morning. The most important piece of information is that throughout the counties, over 50 percent of active registered voters have already cast their ballots! This is a huge increase from previous elections, during which the turnout is generally in the 30 percent range. Congratulations voters!
In Carson City, 20,721 total ballots have been cast, which is 55.49 percent of active registered voters.
Of those ballots, 11,943 were returned by mail, which is 57.64 percent of the total turnout.

In person, 8,778 voters have come to cast their ballots at the Carson City Community Center.
