UPDATE: As of 8:36 p.m. Those working the scene of an accident on the Carson City Freeway say it will be at least 30 minutes before the southbound lane is open. Emergency crews responded to a 3-vehicle crash with injuries Saturday, first reported to Carson City dispatch at 7:36 p.m.
The crash happened in the southbound lane of the I-580 freeway at the Arrowhead exit in Carson City. Injuries were reported and at least one was taken to the hospital via ambulance.

All southbound traffic has been shut down on I-580 at Arrowhead in Carson City after a three-vehicle crash with injuries, the Carson City Fire Department reports.
The accident, reported to Carson City dispatch at 7:36 p.m., involves a pickup pulling a trailer and two cars, according to first responders via dispatch. One of the injured was reported to be a pregnant woman but that has not been confirmed. The Nevada Highway Patrol and the Carson City Sheriff's Office also responded.
Care Flight has not been called. The extent of those injured isn't clear. At least one person was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
