Mile High Jazz Band Association to hold annual membership meeting July 13
The Mile High Jazz Band Association will have its Annual Membership Meeting on Friday, July 13, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. at the home of David & Elinor Bugli, 191 Heidi Circle, Carson City. The main purpose of the meeting is to elect Board members to fill terms that are opening.
The Board will also review accomplishments of the previous twelve months. Members of the Association, as well as other members of the public, are welcome to attend. The meeting will be a potluck event. The Association will provide a main dish, and attendees are asked to bring a side dish. For further information, call 775-883-4154. For general information about the Association, see MileHighJazz.com.
The Mile High Jazz Band Association formed in 2001 as a nonprofit corporation to support the MHJB and its subgroup, the Millennium Bugs (jazz combo), promote live jazz performance in northern Nevada, educate the public about jazz, and enrich the cultural life of the community.
Member benefits include mailings, discounts on admissions, and invitations to special events, plus the satisfaction of helping big-band jazz to thrive! The Association has sponsored the "Jazz & Beyond Carson City Music Festival" each August since 2004. For information about "Jazz & Beyond," see JazzCarsonCity.com.
