Carson City sheriff's arrest log for Tuesday: Man jailed on suspicion of felony home invasion
A Minden man was arrested early Tuesday on suspicion of felony home invasion after allegedly breaking a door of an Ann Street home and then, later, attempting to pull his girlfriend from a vehicle and remove an engagement ring from her finger, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Adam Michael Smith was arrested at 1:13 a.m. inside a bathroom of a Carson City casino after allegedly eluding officers, according to the arrest report. He also faces two misdemeanor charges, domestic battery and obstructing. Bail: $28,300.

A 62-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday, 12:41 a.m. in the 100 block of Connestoga Drive on a misdemeanor warrant issued Aug. 14, 2012 out of Reno Justice Court. According to the arrest report, officers were called to a residence regarding a verbal domestic dispute. Dispatch advised the man returned with the confirmed warrant. Bail: $475.
