Carson City deputies arrest man for domestic violence after little boy calls 911 asking deputies to help his mom
— A 43-year-old Carson City man was arrested on domestic battery first and probation violation after a small child called 911 to say his mother was hurt.
Anthony Robert Diaz was arrested after deputies went to a residence in the 1400 block of E. Long Street and knocked on the door. A small child answered the door and told deputies to hurry up and come up stairs to help his mom.
Deputies followed the little boy upstairs and noticed a male subject exit the first bedroom upstairs. Deputies told the man, later identified as Diaz, to go and speak to another deputy on scene.
The little boy then pointed into the bedroom at a woman who was sitting on the ground.
She told deputies her boyfriend had shoved her to the ground and that she was 11 weeks pregnant. Deputies requested medics to the scene to evaluate the woman.
The woman stated they had gotten into an argument over an inflatable pool because she asked Diaz to inflate the pool and fill it with water and he did not want to. He then pushed her which caused her to fall on her back, hitting her head on the footboard of the bed.
Another person on scene advised she had seen the incident happen, and gave a similar story.
Deputies placed Diaz in handcuffs and took him into custody. Deputies asked him what had happened and he said that he was actually the one who was pushed and that she had slammed his left hand in the closet door.
He showed deputies his hand, and deputies stated they did not see any indication of trauma.
Dispatch advised that Diaz was on Nevada Parole and Probation and had violent tendencies and was considered dangerous to law enforcement.
Parole and Probation requested he be placed under arrest with no bail.
— A 44-year-old transient man was arrested in the 3200 block of Market Street for felony violation of an extended stalking/harassment order.

Palmer had a felony warrant for violation of an extended order for stalking and harassment out of Carson City Justice Court.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Palmer and asked him to step outside. Once outside he was placed in handcuffs and he was taken into custody without issue.
