Art studio, gallery officially opens in downtown Carson City
It’s official: Rustically Divine is now officially open for business in a beautifully remodeled space at 410 N. Carson Street in Carson City, once part of the Horseshoe Club.
On Wednesday, Feb. 7, Kimberly and Sean Saucedo opened their new family business to teach would be artists the growing art of palette painting, perfect for decorating or gift-giving.
The warm and inviting space features recycled art that will surprise, plus handcrafted wood art from their Italian friend, Coan Daniele, an Italian Air Force pilot they met when Sean was stationed in Italy.
Daniele came to Carson City specifically to handcraft the art tables for the grand opening, and he and Kimberly created the unique wood divider using materials found within the walls of the space that had been covered.
Daniele creates Emozioni in Legno — Emotions in Wood. Come view the beautiful eagles crafted from various woods — a true art piece that will be handed down for generations.
Mayor Robert Crowell and Supervisor Lori Bagwell presided at the grand opening and ribbon cutting, joining family, friends, and would be artists.
