Consort Canzona early music ensemble begins rehearsals at Carson City Senior Center for spring concert
Consort Canzona, an early music performing group of the Carson City Symphony Association, will begin rehearsals on Monday, Feb. 3, for their May concerts. The program features Madrigals from the Renaissance through the Baroque, and includes separate and combined instrumental and vocal selections. Rehearsals are Mondays at 7 p.m. at the Carson City Senior Center, 911 Beverly Drive.
Consort Canzona has openings for singers, particularly basses and tenors. The instrumental ensemble - recorders, cello, and harpsichord - has openings for recorder players. Participation is free.
