Carson City sheriff’s arrest log: Man jailed on misdemeanor warrant found with marijuana
A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday, 10:58 p.m. in the area of Northgate and Hot Springs Road on four misdemeanor charges: marijuana possession, driving on a suspended license, failure to stop for a stop sign and a warrant for failure to appear in court.
According to the arrest report, a deputy stopped the man for failing to stop at a stop sign. A computer check showed he had a confirmed warrant for his arrest out of East Fork Township Court in Douglas County. His Nevada driver’s license was suspended due to the failure to appear warrant. Inside his pants a deputy found a plastic baggie with less than an ounce of marijuana. Bail: $2,599.
In other arrests:
— A transient was arrested on two failure to appear on traffic warrants, issued out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1910.
— A 20-year-old Silver Springs man was arrest Thursday, 12:20 a.m. in the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive on a misdemeanor warrant, failure to complete community service, issued in Dayton Township Court. Bail: $500.
